I too have listened to Michael's music for years and am saddened by his passing. What is amazing to me I grew up with his music, my children listened and danced to it, and now my 13 year old grandaughter is mezmerized by him as well. At first I could not make up my mind which Michael song was my favorite. However, with out a doubt, this is it! This songs exudes his total existense. The lyrics are him pouring out his heart with such sensitivity it is unbelievable. I bought the DVD video dangerous (if you really want a treat buy the DVD): Michael sings this song with a choir and children and it touched my soul. When he died one of my nieces said he had a very sad heart. I do not believe all the negative things that he was accused of; he loved children too much. Even in death he left a great percentage of his fortune to charitable issues.
Michael's talent, soul, and giving spirit was a gift from God. His loving spirit will live on through his music and his children forever.

The first time I heard this song was on the radio in my car. Then, as now, I was only an occasional listener to pop/rock music. However, once in a while I like to listen to it to keep current with what young people are listening to, and when I heard this song it not only caught my attention, it GRABBED it!
As a musician myself, I appreciated the rhythm and the harmony progresson. In fact, it moved me to tears and at that time I had not even seen the movie FREE WILLY. But I heard that this was the theme. I rented the movie and listened to the song at the beginning of the movie and was even more moved by it. In fact, I can truly say it was and still is my favorite of all of his songs.
We will all miss Michael Jackson. Whatever we think of him, or whether we agree or disagree with some of the choices he made or how he lived his life, we can all agree on this: Michael Jackson was excellent at what he did, and I think that all of us who remember him and his music will miss him the rest of our lives.
Thank you for leaving us this song, Michael.

Watching this memorial realy made me feel I could mourn MJ properly with his family.
I am very moved by MJ's death, I grew up loving his music and appreciated his artistry, never believed any of the tabloids crazy reporting, for some reason I always believed in his causes, the words in all his music tells it all over the years, that is how he tried to communicate to the world. Honestly, he is one of those most misunderstood people that lived, so sad that he had to die for people to realize his true believes. Yes, he was very different but all creative geniuses are. One can look in history for the proof of this statement but that is always like that over the centuries that these special people are put here only for a short while till there work is done here!
So for me, this song is who Michael is, the emotion he sings this, his voice in the end will make your hair stand up and your eyes tear up. When they played this at the memorial I cracked, how can this mans end from heaven be gone, but he is. This song when it came out with the movie years ago, hearing this, could we have ever thought this would have played at his memorial one day! The emotion and he tears in the end, rips your heart out!
Thanks MJ for giving us part of your soul to remember you by!
